Chevrolet Silverado Volunteer Street Firefighter concept car
Maximizing the Texas State Fair event in 2013, Chevrolet introduced two new concept car designed by Chevrolet Silverado. Namely Silverado Volunteer Street Firefighter and Chevy Silverado Black Ops.
New Chevrolet Silverado Volunteer Street Firefighter is a variant of the result of the development of the Silverado Double Cab into firefighter car. Comes with two touches on the exterior colors, footrests chrome layer, light bars, sirens and fire extinguishers chrome layer.
There are also PA systems, chrome accents in the cabin and on the plate using large wheels measuring 22 inches. This model is designed as a tribute to the first responders who want action on the Chevy Silverado into a fire truck.
Furthermore, Chevrolet also introduced another concept model called Silverado Black Ops Concept. This car model comes with a more grim brings some features like lockable toolbox containing gas masks, gloves, first aid boxes, folding shovel, a bullet proof vest and some other tools.
Chevrolet explains, these two Chevy Silverado concepts cars uses the same engine, the V8 engine with a capacity of 5.3 liters. Has the power to reach 355 HP (265 kW) and a peak torque of 518 Nm (383 lb-ft ). Combined with a six-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive system.
