New generation Ford Focus ST more efficient

Ford an American car manufacturer, the first introduced a new generation Ford Focus ST at event Paris Motor Show in September last year. The latest generation Ford Focus ST has attracted worldwide attention, because the Ford car has a fuel consumption that is much more efficient in its class.

Ford claims the new generation Focus ST is capable of achieving 32 mpg on the highway. The American car manufacturer said this figure is much more efficient than cars in its class such as the Mazda Speed3 and Volkswagen Golf GTI.

“We have a strength that will be a new weapon in the level of fuel efficiency. The new generation Ford Focus ST will answer all of them,” explained Vice President of Global Product Development Ford Raj Nair.

Reportedly, Ford Focus ST is equipped with 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that can produce a total out 250 horsepower and maximum torque of 265 lb-ft. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
